Month Minutes For SLOA Meeting

Seminole Land Owners Association – Board Meeting

Jim Craft calls the meeting to order at 7:05 pm – members present, Jim Craft, Dennis Barron, Mike Weber, Linda Westenfelder, Lisa Salasek, Matt White, and Roger Marchman.
Welcome to new board members Lisa Salasek, Linda Westenfelder, Roger Marchman and Bob Bremser (not present)
There are 24 delinquent lots at this time
Jim Craft offers to acquire the position of treasurer
Meetings are scheduled for the second Monday of each month
Jim Craft nominates Dennis Baron for the position of president. Matt White seconds and the motion carries.
Jim Craft nominates Matt White to retain the position of Vice President. Lisa Salasek seconds and the motion carries.
Matt White nominates Jim Craft as treasurer. Mike Weber seconds and the motion carries.
Request to purchase a multi directional microphone/recorder as long as the price is less than $100. Motion carries.
Mike Webber nominates Lisa Salasek as secretary. Matt White seconds and the motion carries.
Board members for the fiscal year 2007/2008 are as follows:

President - Dennis Baron

Vice President - Matt White

Secretary - Lisa Salasek

Treasurer - Jim Craft

Board members introduce themselves and speak to why they wanted to be on the board.
Pond Committee – Mike Weber, Charlie Vannoy, Dave Parra.
Recommendation that Bob Bremser heads up special projects committee
Linda Westenfelder will head volunteer committee and start making contacts
After reviewing a letter from LOT # 7D requesting approval of raising a second structure in his yard, Jim Craft motions to approve the structure with the statement that no other structures can be erected in the future. Roger Marchman seconds and the motion carries.
SLOA property tax estimated to double or triple per area from statement received. Estimated $1000 for 2008, was $357.28 in 2007. Jim Craft to make proper inquiries and will report at the next meeting.
LOT # 5D owes approximately $6200 to the association. Recently discovered she is only a tenant and that the Porch Creek Indians actually own the property. Contact to be made with the Porch Creek Indians to resolve outstanding issues.
Quote of tree cutting in area by the boardwalk $350. Mike Weber makes the motion to approve spending. Roger Marchman seconds. The motion passes.
Bills to be paid:

1. ECBC Water Authority $39.86 x 3 = $119.58

2. Al’s Lawn Care $2760

3. Power for 7 lights $71 + $24 = $95 (auto drafted from bank account)

4. Annual meeting papers $144(owed to Jim Craft)

Matt White motions to pay the bills. Linda Westenfelder seconds and the motion carries.
Matt White motions that the meeting be adjourned. Mike Weber seconds and the motion carries.
