December 10, 2007
Seminole Landing Owners Association – Board Meeting
- Matt White calls the meeting to order at 7:15pm -
members present Matt White, Mike Weber, Roger Marchman, Bob Bremser, Linda
Westenfelder and Lisa Salasek Dave Westenfelder is also present.
- Matt White talked to LOT # 3B (part of the cul de sac on
Erin Pond West is on his property) and no further work is needed at this
time. The homeowner is satisfied with the culvert & sod that he put in.
- Poarch Creek Indians – LOT # 5D
- PCI are looking for an invoice of total amount owed.
At the 11/21/07 meeting they seemed anxious to get the issues resolved ASAP
- Total amount to include yearly dues, road assessment,
attorney fees, court fees, lat fees, etc. Need to contact attorneys that
filed liens, etc for amounts owed and if liens were refilled each year. Can
we settle?
- Matt White will contact Jim Craft to get more
information
- Roger Marchman and Bob Bremser will start going
through the boxes with past records for more information.
- Linda Westenfelder will call the courthouse to see
what we would need to do to settle or dissolve the liens
- LOT # 4D submitted plans
for a slab and RV cover. Plans are in compliance with the covenants.
- Willie Evans estate is to be settled 12/13/07. Has an
invoice been sent to be included? Lisa Salasek will follow up with Jim Craft.
- Letter received from Don Topp requesting that he can
remove the rock and concrete debris from the ditches when work begins.
- Due to medical issues Bob Bremser will not be able to
continue full time on the board, but is still willing to help when able.
- We are waiting for the warranty information to make
repairs on the roads. There are no new problems, but we have not had much
rain.
- Still need to get three estimates on the road repairs.
Spending already approved. Thompson Engineering is who paved the roads and we
should contact them first.
- Boat Dock Area - Keys have been made for emergency
services. Need letters of exemption of liability before distributing.
- Entry gates are approximately $10,000 per gate plus
$3,000 - $5,000 for video surveillance. We could cut a lot of costs if we
could install as a community, but would have servicing of equipment with
professional install. This is not a formal estimate.
- Next meeting will be Monday, January 14, 2008 at Matt
White’s house – 20060 Erin Pond West.
